A technology designed to quickly identify and authenticate those entering stadiums and venues has earned NCS4 approval.
The SAFE Sports and Events Access Manager relies on a mobile app and uses color codes to alert a stadium security attendant if a person is allowed entry. The tool was used at last year’s Summer Olympics to establish real-time credential validation across different events.
Access Manger was created by HID Global, a leader in products, services and technologies related to the creation, management, and use of secure identities for millions of customers worldwide. NCS4 was established in the aftermath of 9/11 in order to address the nation’s changing security needs.
