Fans don’t want to pay good money to stand in long lines, and with so many available entertainment options these days, the experience could be the difference between someone returning to your venue or staying home.
A software product from Michigan start-up WaitTime that uses artificial intelligence technology could help create a better customer experience and result in increased efficiency for venues like sports stadiums and concert arenas. The tool allows businesses to broadcast real-time waits to social media platforms and mobile apps, and is already in use by several professional sports franchises.
The company’s reach is expected to expand with the recent announcement that it has partnered with the Jordan Avakian Group. A namesake partner is Jeffrey Jordan, the oldest son of basketball legend Michael Jordan.
Jordan’s background is in marketing, and he is expected to lead much of WaitTime’s sponsorship and advertising efforts.
