DSI Security owner Alan Clark plans to open an entertainment facility in downtown Dothan, Alabama. Clark intends to convert an old plant into an indoor concert facility and amphitheater that will also include restaurants, bars, and beer gardens.
A Dothan native, Clark see the venture as a first step toward the revitalization of a blighted downtown area and a way to keep young residents from leaving the area.
The current strategy is to hold three or four major concerts a year at the facility. Alan hopes to have the initial phase completed in the next year or two.
