Need a security guard in a hurry? There’s an app for that.
Technology has met safety and security with the Ranger Guard app. Now any business can request an armed or unarmed private security response to their location on demand through the app’s scheduling tool.
The app is the brainchild of Jonah Nathan, owner of Houston-based Ranger Guard and Investigations. Nathan spent 15 years working for the Israeli secret service.
He says customers used the app during Hurricane Harvey, mainly to guard property left unattended during the storm. He hopes to continue these relationships once the businesses are up and running again.
The service is not available for residential use.
