Kudos to NCS4, for its continuing efforts to strengthen security protocols at arenas and sports facilities throughout the world. The organization recently opened a National Sport Security Laboratory (NSSL) at its headquarters on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi.
The lab is designed to test, evaluate and showcase vendor safety and security solutions. NCS4 likens it to a living laboratory where students, academia, industry and government can research and learn. Since it’s connected to sports facilities on campus, researchers have access to real-life issues affecting safety, security, and pending threats.
A leader in the field, NCS4 recently earned accreditation for its Certified Sport Security Professional (CSSP) certification program from the American National Standards Institute Personal Certification Accreditation Program (ANSI).
