The Security Industry Association (SIA) last month recognized outstanding security leaders during its Honors Night at Chelsea Piers in New York City.
Fredrik Nilsson, vice president, Americas, Axis Communications took home top honors, receiving the 2016 George R. Lippert Memorial Award. Tim Eckersley, senior vice president, Americas, Allegion, received the Excellence in Partnerships Award.
SIA also saluted Dr. Lou Marciani, Director of the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) at The University of Southern Mississippi, as the 2016 recipient of its SIA Insightful Practitioner Award. Dr. Marciani was recognized for his tireless efforts to promote a safe environment for spectators and participants at sporting events and other venues.
