Let’s start with the basics. Just about every garment nowadays touts itself as a performance fabric. But just what do these garments “perform?”
Turns out they perform quite a bit, offering the user protection from UV rays, moisture, and harmful micro-organisms. They can also regulate body temperature, reduce odor, and provide ease of movement, making the wearer more comfortable. Performance fabrics look good too – many resist wrinkles.
